Born in rural north Idaho, where she spent her childhood building homes for resident fairies, Brooklyn-based Dana Perry now spends most of her days gallivanting around Prospect Park with her daughter (who loves to wave at “baby mugwort” along the trails).
She completed the three year clinical herbalism program at ArborVitae in 2018, helped found Herbal Underground, and also holds an MA in sociology from The New School. Previous study of social structures permeates her current work with humans and plants, highlighting the importance of micro and macro social institutions and their impact on personal experience.
