Medicinal Herbal Approaches to Lyme Disease - with Emily French @ ArborVitae School of Traditional Herbalism | New York | New York | United States
This in-depth workshop will cover herbal approaches to prevention, infection, acute care, and chronic treatment of Lyme disease. Learn about the most effective plant medicines for Lyme borreliosis and common co-infections, as well as lifestyle and dietary guidelines to strengthen immune health and improve quality of life.
The Lyme complex of infections, the ticks, the forests and fields, do not have to be our enemies – in fact, they are our teachers. And once we understand what is happening in our bodies when faced with these infections, we can move toward healing and away from fear.

Emily French is a clinical and traditional herbalist who is a passionate and intuitive clinician, educator, wildcrafter, farmer, and medicine maker. She is proud to carry on the age-old medicine tradition that has been passed down from her grandmothers and grandfathers.

With over 4,000 clinical hours of experience, Emily has a broad understanding of both acute and chronic health issues, and how to use healing plants to help people move toward balance and vitality. She holds an advanced degree in Clinical Herbalism from the Clearpath School of Herbal Medicine, a degree in Holistic Medicine & Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, served as Farm to Cafeteria Director of the Massachusetts Farm to School Project, and has served on the Council of the Northeast Herbal Association.  She is the founder of Sweetgrass Herbals, based in Lincoln, Vermont.
